I never usually comment, but I am in awe. I love SLO so I randomly clicked on this video in my suggestion feed. This video is truly incredible. It is more cinematic than most recent films I’ve watched. It feels like a travel channel meets old school food network show I grew up on and loved.
This is one of the first YouTube videos I feel like it is sacrilegious to watch on your phone and should be enjoyed and consumed on the big screen.
Cities should hire you to truly capture the heart and soul of their towns. I’ve been to SLO hundreds of times but your video makes it feel like I’m seeing it for the first time and recapturing all its beauty. The long shots, editing, description, angles—it’s all truly stunning. I have family who are lifelong, born and bred in SLO citizens. They are always cautious of their beloved city as they do not want it to be overpopulated and taken over by corporations, apartments, making it every other city. I will share this video with them as I know even they will appreciate its beauty.
Bravo. 👏🏼
As a cal poly slo alumni I must say this was such an accurate reprentation of SLO and its surrounding towns. Beautifully filmed and edited! I miss SLO so much <3
Showed all the tourist spots. Good. Keep them there and out of the more secluded and real nice areas.
Dammit MAN! Don’t give away our secret! Now they will ALL START COMING!!!!
Your friend in A.G.
Hey Matt. It’s Jason from Berean. Nice video very well done Judy thinks so too! We are now subscribed.
SLO Town!
Scout has great pastries and scones — but for coffee the Nautical Bean does it better. Scout underextracts giving the coffee a sour taste. It is unfortunate that the nice architecture and barista get taken down by the staple provision. It is also a rookie mistake perpetuated by management that should be sent to a coffee brewing class.
Please come and spend loads of money! Our economic base in this county is still agriculture, then tourism -so please come, stay, enjoy and spend your savings here!
Unfortunately, it is now one of the least affordable places in the nation, due to such high housing costs nd not many good pying jobs. I’ve lost 20 friends in 10 years. What few homes are built are large and expensive. Many of y old, sort of funky places with great food, went out ofusiness for more upscale. There are also very little in the way of medical services, you’ll need to go to LA orBay Area. Still, if you canafford a1mil home, don’t have an on going medical condition and are willing to speand a lot of time driving over a spread out county, it is nice
Doing my Timing, California in the Nineties, I visited SLO and totally fell in love with it
Thanks so much for this video! We ended up at High Street Deli today thanks to your recommendation. Enjoyed the best sandwiches we’ve ever had! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos! 🎉

Great video! Definitely hit some highlights for sure!
I lived here or two years downtown, moved to upstate NY for a year, and then noped the F out right back to Downtown SLO. I absolutely love it here. Great video highlighting some of the classics!

‘Little Giants’ (1994) filmed in Arroyo Grande and Paso Robles.
‘Satisfaction’ (1986) filmed in Avila Beach.
‘Murder by Numbers’ (2001) was filmed nearby Mission San Luis.
‘Destination Wedding’ (2018) was filmed at the old San Luis Obispo airport.
